Overview
Students will create a new page on their digital portfolio using Google Sites to explore the concept and impact of influencers. They will research and feature at least three influencers, including reflections on their appeal and influence, embedded YouTube videos, and a discussion of their values and favored behaviors. This project aims to enhance students' critical thinking skills and awareness as media consumers.

Analyze why these influencers are attractive and influential.
Create a digital portfolio page featuring researched influencers, including reflections and embedded media.

Steps
- What is an Influencer?
Start a new page on your Google Site for this class.
Write a short definition of "influencer." Include who they are and what they do.
- Choose Your Influencers:
Pick at least three influencers you like or find interesting.
Add direct links to their English Wikipedia pages on your Google Site.
- Add YouTube Videos:
Find at least three YouTube videos for each influencer.
Embed these videos on your page. Make sure they are about the influencer or created by them.
- Write Your Reflections:
For each influencer, write a short paragraph about why you like them or why they are interesting.
Mention their main ideas or themes.
Note any other topics they talk about.
5. Values and Behaviors:
Create a section called "VALUES and Favored Behaviors."
Describe the values each influencer supports.
Explain the behaviors or actions they encourage.
6. Check Your Work:
Make sure all content follows our acceptable content policy.
Proofread your page to correct any mistakes.
7. Share Your Page:
Create a public share link for your Google Site page.
Submit this link on Canvas for the assignment.
Ensure all links and videos work properly.
Review the assignment rubric to ensure you have met all the requirements before turning it in.
Turn In
Copy and paste the public SHARE LINK (not the EDIT LINK) to your "Influencers" webpage.
Turn that LINK in on Canvas for this assignment.
