"Roll Call Questions" are short questions that can be quickly answered. I use them at the start of class to learn my students' names, encourage them to know each other's names, so we can get to know a bit more about each other, and to build classroom community,
These are in the order of use in different semesters, but these can really be used in any order! Especially at the start of term, it can be helpful to also have students say their FIRST NAME before their answer.
